Tired of trying find a place to prop up an album jacket while the record is playing? We certainly were. So we created this design to proudly display the current record’s jacket/cover right next to our record player.
Made of Brazilian Oak, this has a color similar to Cherry or Teak, but with the heft of Oak. The front has a slight curve to soften the overall appearance. The groove for the album is thick enough for a single or double album cover. Everything rests on two solid brass rods to support the album cover at a nice angle. Finally, we also added 4 rubber feet to the bottom so it doesn’t slide around each time you change records.
Dimensions of the base are: 13” wide x 9” deep x 1” thick
The brass rods are removable for easy transport if you ever move. They add about 5-1/2” in height when inserted.
Finished with gel polyurethane for a rugged finish.
