Handmade dark drown leather cross-body bag/purse, made from high quality top/full grain Horween Cavalier ChromeExcel leather from the Tannery Row in Chicago.
This leather is pretty structured with a stiff temper, giving this bag a sturdy quality. Assembly is also bespoke, as every stitch was done by hand and with great care.
This bag was originally designed by Nigel Armitage, of Armitage Leather, and we learned how to pattern, design, and fabric-line this bag from one of his classes. He is the best!
This is a fully lined bag using outdoor canvas is a classic striped pattern in teal blue color.
Simplicity is key with this bag, as there are no interior or exterior pockets. The handles are attached with antique brass rivets and has an adjustable brass buckle if you prefer your bag to hang longer or shorter. Closure is a solid antique brass twist clasp. Stitches are using Ritza Tiger waxed thread Aqua/Turquoise color.
As this is a natural product, leather can sometimes have minor blemishes, which adds to the natural character.
Size of the bag is roughly 10-1/2" tall x 8" wide x 3-1/2" deep. Strap is roughly 50" in length with adjustments of about 5" using the brass buckle.
